Your voice will get stronger as you write

If you really want to be a writer, you have to write, then edit, then write some more. Just like anything in this life, you have to put the work in. And don't be afraid of your voice. I have a ton of rejection letters and emails. Honestly, at times it is hard to take, but then I get a comment or email from someone who has read a poem or blog post and shared how it connected with them. Your voice will get stronger as you write and that will connect with readers.
